Kaitlin Jackson, EdD, serves as the Director of the California Medicine Scholars Program, a pathway initiative connecting California Community Colleges to medical schools with a mission to diversify the physician workforce. With over a decade of experience, Kaitlin has dedicated her career to supporting STEM students and fostering inclusive, equitable educational environments.

Her professional background spans student services, program development, mentorship, grant management, civic engagement, and career advancement. A proactive advocate for educational equity, Kaitlin champions policies and practices at both institutional and statewide levels. Her efforts include implementing equity initiatives and evaluating the impact of programs designed to promote inclusion and access.

Kaitlin holds a Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University, a Master’s in Higher Education Administration from Drexel University, and an EdD in Educational Leadership from California State University, Long Beach.
