I want to become a physician because I believe that having the knowledge to diagnose and treat a sick individual is the most remarkable privilege that anyone could have. I want to have the ability to influence others through medicine and through my personal journey, especially being a first-generation college student born in another country.
Someone is out there counting on their loved ones to be taken care of in moments of need, and I would want to be their beacon of hope based on my actions and my education as a physician. I want to be that image of a physician who comprehends the background and speaks the language of my patients.
CMSP has enabled me to have hope for my future again […], but it has also provided me with the support and resources necessary to actually bring my dream into fruition. It has been an enriching and frankly life-changing opportunity for me.
